In Darchula's project schools, OLE Nepal will

  • Like previous years, OLE Nepal will work closely with Nepal's Department of Education to implement the program.
  • Our team will hold meetings and discussions with the community members and management committees of the selected schools.
  • With the support from local authorities, the schools will sign agreements to create a maintenance fund for the equipment.
  • OLE Nepal has been implementing the laptop program in the far-west with the support of UN World Food Programme’s School Meals Programme, which is supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), through the McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition grant.
